From Foe to Friend: Wind River’s 180 on Linux

A few years ago, Wind River’s CEO was questioning Linux’s viability for embedded systems and attacking the GPL. What a difference a few years makes! Wind River is now supporting Linux alongside its proprietary VxWorks OS for embedded devices, and making more money doing so. CNET has an interview with Wind River CEO Ken Klein, who explains why Wind River has changed its stance on Linux, and other developments in the embedded market.
