Visual Analytics Achieves Protection Level 3 Certification for its Analytical Software Under the Security Requirements of the Department of Defense's Common Criteria

FREDERICK, Md., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ — Visual Analytics Inc. (VAI) announced today that the Department of Defense (DoD) Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) Independent Test Authority (ITA) certified the VisuaLinks software (current version 5.1) for Protection Level 3 (PL3). Protection levels are internal certifications of information systems by agencies operating throughout the Intelligence Community (IC) and Common Criteria (CC) is used as the basis for evaluation of security properties of IT products and systems.
