It's not thread wandering because I see java and .net to be the _first_ really useful/practical implemenations of RPC! RPC cannot truely mature until security and bandwidth is the norm. Once that happens, the dream of Java to provide what I call "Tollware" comes true. Then the licensing and 'codec' issues will fall to the wayside. If China figures out how to adopt this first, the GNU had better be translated into Mandarin! »
